1984:
EASB's current Principal, Dr Andrew Chua, founded Informatics Software as a training & consultancy outfit, dedicated to the provision of trained IT software professionals for the republic's burgeoning IT industry.
1989: Expanded Informatics Software to become Information Technology and Management (ITM) Associates.
2000: East Asia School of Business, also known as EASB was founded to provide tertiary level education focusing on management modules to prepare "Ready and Confident" managers for the workplace.
2001: EASB's Curriculum for Diploma and Advanced Diploma is designed and structured using the UK Credit Accumulation Transfer Scheme (C.A.T.S). This allowed our academic programmes to be articulated with more than 30 universities. In response to the rapidly growing needs, EASB successfully registered with the Singapore Ministry of Education as an approved academic institute.
2003: EASB became one of the first PEOs (Private Education Organizations) to be honoured with the Singapore Quality Class (SQC) PEO award.
2004: Officially renamed as East Asia Institute of Management while retaining its abbreviation of EASB. Opened the first campus at Henderson with a capacity for up to 2000 students.
2005: Awarded the CaseTrust for Education Accreditation.
2005: Established over 46 partnerships with major hotels and F&B outlets offering opportunities for EASB hospitality students.
2005: Number of enrolled students exceeded 1000.
2006: Launched the EASB Hospitality Training Center to cater for the rising demand of professionals required for the Hospitality & Tourism industry in Singapore.
2008: Opening of the second campus in Balestier with a capacity of up to 6000 students. The historic event was made even more significant with the attendance of the former British Minister for Higher Education and Learning, Mr Bill Rammel.
2009: Established the School of Health Sciences.
2009: EASB received SME Growth Excellence Recognition. EASB was the only education institution to receive such an award. This prestigious award recognises outstanding SMEs with consistent and stable financial performances.
2010: Registered for ERF and awarded Edutrust Certification (4-year) for maintaining the best education standards in Singapore.
2010: Awarded SME Growth Excellence for the Most Promising Enterprise for 2nd year in a row.
2010: Number of enrolled student figures exceeded 3500.

The appointment is for Senior Lecturer (3-4 positions available) who will teach in EASB(Singapore)
- 35 to 45 years old;
- PHd in Business/ Management or Accountancy from a recognized university in USA , UK or Australia ;
- Fluency in English is essential;
- Minimum 5 years managerial experience;
- Minimum 5 years teaching experience at college or university level;
- Able to teach at least 2-3 of these subjects:
o Accounting;
o Business Management;
o Marketing
o Logistics and Supply Chain Management
o Operation Management;
o HRM and OB ;
o Economics;
o Business Statistics;
o Finance;
o Banking Operation & Finance;
o Management Information Systems

福利與制度：
- Total annual package approximate S$65,000 – S$70,000 per annum. The package is inclusive accommodation allowance of S$1,000 per month.
- Good promotional prospect to become Assistant Dean (AHOS) or Dean (HOS – Heads of School) of Business School for the right candidates who demonstrate good classroom management, student discipline and student rapport; administrative managerial ability and people skills.
