My job responsibility is to lead the FAE team in the great China region and to interface with key OEM/ODM accounts, ex. Mitac : PDA, GPS, Wistron : PDA, BENQ : MFP, scanner, PMP, ASUS : phone, DVD, Inventec : phone, DXG : DSC, AIPTEK : DSC, Primax : MFP, FOXLINK : scanner, Amtran : LCD TV, BBK : DVD, AMOI : DVD, Foxcon : IP phone. To lead and arrange all the FAE engineers’ jobs and loading, on job training and monitor the performance. Make sure the engineers to solve customer’s problem quick and in the best quality.
For new product introduction and promotion, I team up with own sales and distributors to act as product marketing role to interface with customers and provide the technical/ market trend feedback to design team for improvements and new feature requirements for HQ in England/ Edinburgh.
I’m also built up the China/ Shanghai, Shenzhen FAE team in 2005. To help and arrange the training for all local engineers in the products/ test equipments/ debugging skill/ working flow/ customers relationship/ pre-sale, promotion products/. . .To teach and educate all the local engineers would be work in good capability and independently. To help the local tech. Support can be created in the shortest period. Before the local tech. support team was been created, I and my engineers frequently to travel to China to support the China customers. To help and solve customers’ problem in RD stage and factory side.
Base on the previous experience, I’m handling all the office computer equipments again. Desktop, notebook, Wireless AP, local server, Hubs, router, ADSL line, printers, Scanners, . . .and I will always work at night, when every time the whole world system strategy changed (UK HQ to local area), I need to work with HQ IT engineers. I got more pictures and experience about the office computers configuration, system installation/ setup. After the several years service. Truly powerful my computer’s knowledge and capability.

My job responsibility was to assist and products’ technical training for local distributor engineers with any technical issues which related to the USB IC’s – Hub, IrDA controller, USB bridge, Audio controller, and Bluetooth BB controller/ Modules. To help the distributors’ PM to pre-sale, to promote all the products of company. And also gather all the issues/ customers inquiry, request and the market trend, discuss and pass all these information to HQ in San Francisco / silicon valley.
In the computer exhibition period to arrange the venue/ the meeting/ the topics for all customers and distributors, to help and promote company’s products.
And at meantime, I’m also in charge of the IT issue of for all which in office. PC, NB, Networking, printer, wireless, AP, switch, Hub, system, program, . . , To solve all the equipments problem. I’m good and interesting in this field also. It’s let me have more experience in the office’s IT/ MIS maintenance.
And also up grade and more powerful my knowledge in PC/ computer field.

My job responsibility was a RD engineer, to research and development for the products. The products were included such as the Terminals, CRT Monitor & LCD Monitors, CD-ROM. I’d acquired many experiences on the circuits board design/ PCB design/ debug, firmware debug, product specification identify, EMI/ FCC Testing, Safety Regulation applying and factory production monitoring. All the jobs, From a new project/ product initiate, to create the project schedule/ study the main chip/ draw the schematics, release the schematic, BOM/ to negotiate with the different units, such as the sales, power supply department, mechanism department, components venders, FCC/EMI/SAFTY/UL debug/ modify and applying, Technique (products) transfer and teach, educate the technicians of factory for the purpose of mass product smoothly in manufactory side. etc. . . . truly make me be a good designer, have a good debug skill, and also have a good skill to arrange schedule and to negotiate with different units and people to achieve and completed the mission.
