Set up in 1997, PROWARE is one of the most representative Japanese animation agents in Taiwan. It is well-known as a company that aims at accurately fitting in with the pulse of trends in Japanese otaku culture, and has actively introduced numerous popular and high-quality works, such as Detective Conan The Movie Series, Evangelion The New Movie Series, Cardcaptor Sakura, Ghost In The Shell, Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumi, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, The Garden of Sinners, Lucky Star, etc., which are highly approved by masses of animation fans.
Via a diversification strategy, PROWARE manages and develops its animation market in such ways as authorizing television broadcasting, providing Video-On-Demand service, making and issuing DVDs, authorizing the merchandising rights, designing and issuing the related merchandise, cinematic release, and so forth.
